1. What Yourbio is

Yourbio is a service, operated by Alpha Node Technologies (“Yourbio”, “we”, “us”), that turns photos, videos, voice recordings, and written answers you provide into an AI-edited documentary film about a person’s life. By creating an account or using Yourbio, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You need an account to create a project. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to use Yourbio.

3. One-time film purchases

Building a project (answering questions, uploading media, generating a story plan, and watching a free, watermarked preview) is free. Unlocking and downloading the finished, watermark-free film requires a one-time payment for the plan you choose (Mini, Life, Cinematic, Legacy, or Human-Assisted). Each plan sets the maximum film length, export resolution, and number of included “Living Memories” variations. You can review the preview before paying.

4. Gifting a film

You may purchase a film plan as a gift for someone else. You pay once at the time of purchase; the recipient redeems the gift against their own project and pays nothing further for that plan.

5. Storage top-ups

Every project includes a free storage allowance for uploaded photos, videos, and documents. If you need more space, you can purchase a one-time, fixed-size storage top-up, which is added permanently to that project.

6. Family Archive subscription

Family Archive is an optional, recurring subscription (billed monthly or yearly) on top of the one-time plans above — you can use Yourbio entirely without it. While subscribed, you get: work on unlimited concurrent projects, one free Life Story film unlock per calendar month, double the upload storage allowance on your projects, priority placement in the render queue, and the same AI photo/video generation limits as the Cinematic Story plan. The subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect immediately, and no partial refund is given for the remainder of the current billing period (see our Refund Policy).

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, voice recordings, and answers you upload (“Your Content”). By uploading it, you grant Yourbio a license to store, process, and use Your Content solely to build, render, and deliver your documentary film. You confirm you have the rights necessary to upload Your Content and to have it processed as described here — including the consent of any other people it depicts, and, where you invite family or friends to contribute answers, their consent to submit their own memories to your project.

8. AI-generated content

Your film’s narration, structure, and edit are generated by AI from what you provide. AI-written narration and AI voice narration can occasionally make mistakes or misinterpret details. Please review your film before sharing it, and use the editing tools to correct anything that isn’t right.

If you don’t have enough real photos or videos, Yourbio can generate stand-in photos from a text description, and short video clips from a reference photo, using third-party AI models. Generated images are created from your description alone and are not guaranteed to resemble the actual person. Each plan includes a limited number of generations, shown in your Memory Box.

9. Sharing to GreatLife

GreatLife is Yourbio’s own showcase of finished films. Your film is never shared there automatically — it only appears if you explicitly choose to share it after downloading.

10. Payment processing

Payments are processed by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, who also handles order-related inquiries and returns. Paddle sets and collects the price you pay, handles applicable sales tax/VAT, and is the merchant of record for your purchase.

11. Acceptable use

You may not upload content you don’t have the right to use, content that is illegal, or content intended to harass or defame someone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.

12. Disclaimer & liability

Yourbio is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Yourbio after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
